QES
On the other hand, the incorporation of QES is a must. It has been one of the most notable successes of 2021. We are pleased to offer a recognized electronic signature that reduces costs by improving the efficiency of internal processes, improves the user experience by offering a user-centric experience for signatories, reduces risks as QES has the highest level of assurance and legal value, and innovates by digitising an obsolete manual procedure. But why are we so proud? Because our qualified electronic signature is different, yes it is, because it is fully online and does not require video identification, it allows the identification of non-European citizens, and it is also one of the fastest.
Nor can we forget all the programs, conferences and major events in which we have had the honor of participating.
F10 Zürich Accelerator
SignD was selected to participate in the 2021 Acceleration Program by F10 Accelerator Switzerland in Zürich, only last year the kick-off took place on an ingenious online platform due to pandemia. F10 is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 in Switzerland. Since its inception, F10 and its corporate partners have aimed to bring together the world of financial technology and innovation with some of the biggest and most respected names in the large and respected Swiss financial industry. F10, its corporate partners and the more than 140 start-ups that participated in incubation and acceleration programs with them, constitute an ecosystem. An ecosystem of financial innovation. An ecosystem where we need each other to learn, to produce and to stay creative and innovative.
The Accelerator Programme was an opportunity not just to meet and get to know each other, but to think, dream and build. From conversations with some of the world’s best financial institutions about their technology challenges, or simply our impressions of the evolving future of the financial services sector. We were able to listen to the experience of the start-ups we admire, find inspiration for ourselves and, hopefully, be able to pass some of that on as well.
Ideas for new services, products, or declaring the intention of a collaborative project, are all projections of an Accelerator’s raison d’être: when it comes to innovation, together, collaborating, we are more.
WEB SUMMIT
Another great event we participated in was the Web Summit, one of the most important annual tech events, with thousands of attendees, the 2021 Web Summit was an epic return of an offline gathering, after a two-year lock-in. As always, the Web Summit is a place to meet thousands of CEOs and investors, form collaborations, improve brand awareness, generate sales and establish networking connections like nowhere else on the planet. People from completely different backgrounds are on the same page and are open to learn from each other. In this case, our CEO Bernhard Reiterer, our KAM Martin Hammerschmid and our sales manager Clemens Pohl travelled to Portugal.
As we all know, such opportunities as Web Summit bring a lot of advantages to all the tech people. This forum is full of business meetings, presentations of startups, which leads to the establishment of strong networking connections for the future. Moreover, it builds an understanding of how to continue business development with the consideration of analyzed views, values, demands, heard and seen on the Web Summit.
But it’s not just technology! Also technology in the world of sport! SPORTOPIA!
SignD participated in SPORTOPIA, the forum for innovation and sustainability in sport: a unique place to exchange experiences, ideas and smart solutions for sports organisations and companies. The process of digitalization is bringing about enormous technological, social and ecological changes. The field of sporting life is no stranger to this. Together with the sports facility booking platform VENUZLE, SignD searched for and tested new solutions for this.
The aim was to create a complete picture of the sports facility of the future that meets future requirements and can have an impact beyond sport on society. To this end, Venuzle CEO Wolfgang Lang and Bernhard Reiterer, CEO of SignD Identity, presented future scenarios that facilitate the work of users and operators of sports facilities in a keynote speech and a workshop.
What about gaming? SEE Gaming Business Forum
Our CEO Bernhard Reiterer was one of the speakers at the SEE Gaming Business Forum. Emina Jeremic Markovic, our representative in Serbia and expert in the gaming industry, and Clemens Pohl, our head of sales, also participated in this event that brings together C-level executives, software vendors and major suppliers, casino and sports betting operators, payment solutions companies, affiliates and national regulators who impose taxes and collect money, to discuss industry requirements, regulatory hurdles, social responsibility, business strategy and the role of technology in the sector! 🚀
Many companies are in the process of joining the EU regulatory standards, this integration will bring with it a course of adaptation, as these companies will have to adapt to the EU legal framework and will have to change their practices and the way they operate. Meetings such as this one are necessary to align ideas and requirements.
